Enregistré le 20 et 21 décembre 1967.

Les pistes originales ont été produites par Chas, mais elles ont été remixés par Jimi quand il est devenu son propre producteur, au Record Plant, en 1968. Il rajoute du piano et des choeurs (Dave Mason). La guitare solo est doublée par un kazoo constitué d'un peigne et d'une feuille de cellophane !

Il est sorti en single et n'a pratiquement jamais été joué en concert, car Jimi n'aime pas ce côté "business" associé à ce morceau...
